also mein index.html liegt im /srv/www/htdocs/ und wenn ich die seite aufrufe bekomme ich

kann es sein das ich da was ändern muss benutze opensuse 11.4 lamp
bitte helft mir seit 2tagen kann ich nix machen bin in diese sachen anfänger

Schau Dir mit "ls -l" mal die Rechte der Datei und die der übergeordneten Verzeichnisse an bzw. poste die Ausgabe hierher. Im letztgenannten Fall bitte mit code-Tags, siehe meine Sig. In #1 könntest Du auch gleich quote durch code ersetzen, das erleichtert hier das Lesen.

könnte das problem auch bei der apache liegen wenn ja was muss ich da einstellen oder ändern

vor allem: schau mal in's Error-Log. Da stehen meist aussagekräftigere Fehlermeldungen drin als im Browser...

Schau mal unter /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/
Dort müsste eine configurationsdatei sein in der der DocumentRoot Eintrag drin steht.

Bei mir laitet er DocumentRoot /var/www
(Ubuntu Standard)


Versuch erst mal unter 127.0.0.1 auf deine Seite zu kommen.
