Ich habe für eine Bekannte auf dem HP Pavilion DV 5000 Suse Linux 11.3 aufgesetzt. Das funktioniert alles ganz gut, nur am Gerät selber lässt sich nicht über die Taste Funk-Wireless die integrierte WLAN-Karte aktivieren - es müßte die blaue Kontrollleuchte am Laptop aufleuchten. Unter YAST wurde der WLAN-Adapter erkannt und eingerichtet (Broadcom 4812) eingerichtet. Am LAN-Label funktioniert der Internetzugang einwandfrei.

Warum läßt sich die Funkkarte am Laptop selber nicht einschalten - gibt es dafür vielleicht ein spezielle Tastenkombination?

Wenn du WLAN mit Yast konfigureirt hast, hast du dann die klassische Methode (ifup/down) genommen, oder den Networkmanager aktiviert?

Ich habe unter yast die traditionelle Methode mit IFUP genommen.

Habe jetzt mit collectNWD.sh folgendes Ergebnis bekommen:

Installier Dir OpenSuse 11.3.
Du hast 11.1 installiert, welches abgelaufen ist.

Ich habe mit Suse 11.3 das gleiche Problem, das ist ein Fehler mit der Kommunikation zwischen Hardware und Software.

Was nutz uns die Ausgabe des Scripts für OpenSuse 11.1, wenn Du bei 11.3 einen Fehler hast?
