Ich hatte früher nach dem Upgrade zu KDE 4.3.1 Probleme mit Digikam, damals auf KDE 4.4 hoch gegangen, seither immer wieder kleinere Probleme mit Paketkonsistenzen gehabt.

Gestern hat es mir bei einer (eigentlich trivialen) Deinstallation von Kopete den Desktop so "zerlegt" dass ich mich zu einer Neuinstallation entschloss.

Diese habe ich jetzt durchgeführt, bin wieder auf KDE 4.3.5, habe jetzt aber das Problem dass meine Intel Soundkarte zwar im Yast angezeigt wird, aber nicht verwendet werden kann.

Bei der erstinstallation konnte ich das Ganze mit etwas Probieren und alsaconf in Ordnung bringen, aber alsaconf läuft nicht mehr:

P.S. mittelfristig werde ich doch wieder zum KDE 4.4 gehen, das Problem mit Digikam besteht defnitiv noch bei 4.3.5...

Schau dir mal die Seite http://www.linupedia.org/opensuse/High_Definition_Audio_AC_97 an. Evtl. bringt ein Update der Alsa-Pakete (+KMP) und Eintragen des richtigen "model" etwas.

Entschuldige bitte die späte Antwort.. ich habe gerade in die Tischkante gebissen und meinen Kopf zwei- dreimal gegen die Wand geknallt.

.. ich hatte beim Kopfhörer den Lautstärkeregler runtergedreht und konnte daher den Testsound nicht hören.. dazu ein paar irritierende Meldungen dass die internen Soundkarten entfernt wurden (immer wenn man in Yast bei Sound auf "OK" klickt scheint die Neuinitialisierung diese Meldung von KDE 4.3.5 auszulösen ..

und meine Verwirrung war komplett... vielen Dank für deine Hilfe, die Diagnoseseite habe ich bei mir in die Lesezeichen aufgenommen ....

Jetzt höre ich besser auf am System rumzukonfigurieren, die Knaller die ich gestern und heute gebracht haben legen eine Pause nahe ....
