fsck from util-linux-ng, USB Festplatte, extrem lange Bootzeit

Hi ich habe ein Rechner mit einer externen USB Festplatte worauf Ubuntu 10.04 Server installiert ist.
Wenn ich das System Boote macht er einen file system check wo er extrem lange brauch bis er den Bootvorgang fortsetzt.

Das System wurde neuinstalliert und bei jedem Reboot das selbe.

Es ist ext4

ext4 macht auch bei mir probleme mit dem Booten. Aber ich denke das man doch irgendwo eine Patch hat für ext4 und diesen einbauen kann und das wars dann !:D
