Kupdate Applet bietet mir alte Firefox Version an

Hi !

Bin ein wenig verwirrt: ich habe mir aus dem Build Service Firefox 3.6.3 installiert, jetzt meckert mein Kupdate Applet aber ständig dass ich zur Behebung von Sicherheitslücken Firefox 3.5.9 installieren soll.

Ich habe versucht das Applet zu konfigurieren, fand dort aber nichts, auch habe ich das Mozilla Repo auf eine niedrigere Prioritäten-Zahl als die OpenSuse Repos gesetzt, allein, der Updater will immer noch auf diese Uralt Version zurück.

Wie gewöhne ich ihm das ab ?

zypp oder packagekit?

Packagekit. Als ich das Applet aber umkonfigurieren wollte kam Yast mit genau den Repos hoch die ich eingestellt hatte. Also sollte er eigentlich auf das Mozilla Repo zugreifen.

Installier dir das zypp-Backend dazu und stells mal darauf um.
IIRC funktioniert das mit Packagekit und den "externen" Repos nicht gescheit.

Ich habe jetzt in der Kupdate Applet Konfiguration auf das Zypp Modul umgestellt und nochmal "jetzt aktualisieren" geklickt, aber das Ergebnis ist leider das selbe...

Wie sind die Einstellungen im Updateapplet jetzt gesetzt? Drittanbieter aktiviert?

Updater Applet Einstellungen im Fenster das mit dem Rechtsklick + Miniprogramm einrichten erreicht wird:

Prüf Intervall für Aktualisierungen: 24 Stunden
Benachrichtigunsintervall bei verfügbaren Aktualisierungen: 60 Minuten

Dienstprogramm: ZYpp-Modul

Häkchen gesetzt bei:

Softwareaktualisierung automatisch nach der Anmeldung starten
Verfügbare Aktualisierungen anzeigen wenn das Dienstprogramm sie anbietet (Expertenmodus)
Immer Detailansicht anzeigen

Da gibts doch noch eine Option für Drittanbieter oder so ähnlich (gabs jedenfalls). Ich hab das Ding hier nicht installiert...

Äh.. wo ? Auf der Registerkarte leider nicht...

Dann wird das nun im Expertenmodus enthalten sein.
Hmm...zypper lu und zypper lp bzw. zypper pchk liefern vermutlich nichts?
Ansonsten schau mal mit zypper se -sr 9 nach, ob alle im Mozilla-Repo verfügbaren Pakete auch aus diesem Repo kommen (und nicht aus einem anderen).

Seitdem ich die nachinstalliert habe liefert er nur noch dass Aktualisierungen verfügbar sind, aber nicht mehr dass ein Sicherheitsupdate installiert werden müsse....
