Hallo,

da leider eggdrop nicht mit yum verfügbar ist muss ich es selbst kompilieren, was natürlich nicht funktioniert :(

Da sind jetzt einige no's dabei aber er bricht nicht ab und schreibt unten ja "Type make config". Wenn ich das mache kommt folgendes:

make: execvp: ./misc/modconfig: Keine Berechtigung
make: *** [config] Fehler 127


Meine Frage: Muss wirklich überall yes stehen und wenn ja warum bricht er dann nicht ab? Falls nein, was mache ich falsch?

Nein, muss nicht.
Und Du machst mehreres falsch.
Du liest die Fehlermeldung anscheinend nicht...
Und (viel schlimmer eigentlich) Du kompilierst als root.

Wenn die Entwickler vom Eggdrop was dagegen haben, wenn man sowas macht, könnte daher schon die Fehlermeldung kommen.

Statt alles "zu Fuß" zu probieren, würde ich als Basis eines der src.rpms für Fedora verwenden und ggf. nach Anpassungen einen Rebuild mit rpmbuild durchführen, siehe "man rpmbuild".

BTW:

Ich muss meinem Vorposter beipflichten, wer als root baut, frisst auch kleine Kinder.

Also ich habs natürlich zuerst ohne Root probiert. Also es dann mit nem normalen User net ging und was von Zugriffsrechten da stand es dann mit Root probiert.

Hab jetzt ein rpm von RHEL5 gefunden. Funtioniert einwandfrei. Dennoch danke für eure Hilfe!
