Hallo,
ich weiß zwar nicht ob das hier das richtige Unterforum ist, aber ich poste mein Problem mal trotzdem. Ich benutze PCLinuxOS Phoenix Edition (Xfce) und kriege meinen Treiber nicht zum Laufen. Ich habe den Treiber mit Hilfe des integrierten Treibertools installiert und dort stand, das meine Grafikkarte von diesem unterstützt wird. Also habe ich auf install geklickt. Zur Probe habe ich immer fglrxinfo ins Terminal eingegeben:
[jannes@localhost ~]$ fglrxinfo
Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.4 (2.1 Mesa 7.0.3-rc2)
Wie man sieht, wird trotzdem der Mesa-Treiber verwendet. Also wollt ich mit Hilfe des Tools fglrx nochmal neuinstallieren. Das Tool ließ sich aber nicht mehr öffnen. Nunja, dann hab ich es mit aticonfig versucht.
So sieht meine alte xorg.conf aus:

"Disable" is not a valid keyword in this section.
Dann habe ich den Ratschlag bekommen, Disable "dri" in Load "dri" zu ändern. Das kommt dann als Ausgabe:
[root@localhost jannes]# aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf
Uninitialised file found, configuring.
Speicherzugriffsfehler
Und hier nochmal die Fehlermeldung, wenn ich versuche, das Catalyst Center zu öffnen:

Es ist kein ATI-Grafiktreiber installiert oder der ATI-Treiber funktioniert nicht ordnungsgemäß. Bitte installieren Sie den richtigen Treiber für Ihre ATI-Hardware oder verwenden Sie den Befehl aticonfig.
Die Distri ist PCLinuxOS Phoenix Edition (Xfce) und die Kernelversion ist 2.6.26.8.tex4 (scheint modifiziert zu sein). Meine Grafikkarte ist die ATI Radeon 9500 Pro.
