Kein Ton unter Suse 11.2 (und 11.1)

Hallo,

ich habe ein Problem mit dem Sound. Installiert ist Suse 11.2 - aber das Problem hatte ich auch unter 11.1.

Ich habe ein Asus M2N Motherboard mit sound on board, der Chip funktioniert (unter Windows).

Auf hwinfo --sound bekomme ich

Vermutlich zu neu. Bei meinem neuen Asrock Board wird der Sound auch nicht korrekt erkannt.

Abhilfe: www.opensound.com oder ne externe USB Soundkarte.
