Hallo,
Ich benutze Amarok 1.4 und habe folgendes Problem: Beim Start und beim Versuch des Abspielens erscheint die Fehlermeldung
Xine kann keine Audio-Treiber initialisieren. Mit GStreamer läuft alles bestens, nur eben in der standartmäßigen nicht sehr hohen Soundqualität. Gleiches bei Phonon, mit Xine nix Sound (aber keine Fehlermeldung), mit GStreamer läuft's.
Beim Hochfahren ist es sogar meißt so, dass gar kein Sound geht. Lass ich alsaconf laufen geht's wieder.
xine-check gibt folgendes aus:

The xine-config script can be used to determine some file locations
used by xine-lib, but you don't have such a script on your system.
However, it looks like you installed xine via some package manager.
So I'll just guess that you are using the standard locations.
If you want me to be sure about those file locations, you can install
the xine-lib development package, which is usually called
'xine-lib-devel', 'xine-devel', 'libxine-dev' or similar.
That package contains xine-config, but this is not really needed to
run xine...

This might be due to the use of an ide-scsi emulation.
If you really have a SCSI DVD drive, your SCSI controller is likely
to do perfect DMA, so there's no reason to worry about this.
However, if you're using ide-scsi, there is a chance that DMA is
disabled for the DVD drive. Moreover, I don't know how to enable
DMA in that case, so you probably have to live with some performance
loss. (FIXME: check for /proc/ide, provide solution)

Ich habe nun xine-lib b.z.w libxine1 schon ein paar mal neu installiert aber trotzdem kommt diese Fehlermeldung. Ich schenke ihr aber wenig Glauben, denn wenn ich mich als Root anmelde geht alles sofort,mit xine und allem drum und dran, aber wieder die Fehlermeldung von oben wenn ich xine-check laufen lasse.
Ich denke mal eher, dass da irgendein Prozess da meinen Sound blockiert, denn wenn ich alsaconf laufenlasse, geht der Sound wieder. Und zwar ab der ersten Seite, wo steht
If ALSA is already running, you should close all sound apps now and stop the sound driver. alsaconf will try to do this, but it's not 100% sure Dann kann er zwar nach Soundkarten suchen, aber der Sound geht während dessen schon wieder. Wie bzw. mit welchem Befehl kann ich also die Prozesse töten/ausfindig machen, die meinen Sound blockieren. Ich hab' zwar das (http://forum.ppcnux.de/viewtopic.php?p=8371#p8371) (mp3 läuft bei mir!) gefunden, aber das ist erstens für eine ältere Version von OpenSUSE und zweitens ist es schlecht beschrieben, wie man es doch zu lauen kriegt.
