Hi,
ich hab mir ein neues System mit Suse11.1 gebaut (Athlon XP 2500+, 768MB, Nforce2-Board), bekomme aber den Sound einfach nicht hin. Er erkennt die Soundkarte und hat auch den NVMixer installiert, aber es kommt kein Ton. Ich nutze die Onboardkarte die er selbst als "ASUSTeK nForce2 AC97 Audio Controler (MCP)" erkennt.
Der Mikrofoneingang der Onboardsoundkarte funktioniert (ich bekomm nen Pegel beim Volume-Manager von PulseAudio), der Ausgang versagt aber. Schließe ich ein USB-Headset mit an ändert sich daran nichts, deaktiviere ich die OBSC funktioniert das Headset.
Alsaconf funzt, aber auch hier keine Änderung.

Wenn ich den Rechner starte bekomme ich teilweise eine Meldung von Phonon, dass die OBSC nicht funktioniert und er deshalb etwas auf Default zurückstellt. Ich hab dann mal probiert bei der "Persönlichen Einstellungen" das Backend von XStreamer auf Xine zu ändern (Das war das was ich mir über Google zu Phonon zusammendenken konnte), hat aber auch nix gebracht, weshalb ich die Einstellung rückgängig gemacht habe.
Nachdem ich beim "Volume-Meter" keine Ausgabe sehe bin ich mir jetzt zumindest wieder sicher, dass ich nicht doch ausversehen beim Boardeinbau was demoliert habe und es ein Softwareproblem ist. Ich weiß aber noch nicht wo und blicke leider auch die Zusammenhänge zwischen Playersoftware, Soundmanager, padevchooser, Yast, "Persönlichen Einstellungen", Xine, GStreamer, Phonon, Alsa und/oder OSS noch nicht. Zumal ich schon mit dem Mixer völlig überfordert bin, wenn ich dort 16 Regler bei 3 Buchsen habe (Welcher Kanal wird auf welche Buchse gemapped, brauche ich PCM oder nicht (hab kein SPDIF o.ä.).
Den Updatetrick von http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=259852 hab ich auch schon probiert, keine Änderung.
Nur der Form halber: Ich hänge direkt mit funktionierenden Kopfhören am Ausgang und hab auch schon alle Buchsen durchprobiert.

Wenn ich den Rechner starte bekomme ich teilweise eine Meldung von Phonon, dass die OBSC nicht funktioniert und er deshalb etwas auf Default zurückstellt. Ich hab dann mal probiert bei der "Persönlichen Einstellungen" das Backend von XStreamer auf Xine zu ändern (Das war das was ich mir über Google zu Phonon zusammendenken konnte), hat aber auch nix gebracht, weshalb ich die Einstellung rückgängig gemacht habe.
Nachdem ich beim "Volume-Meter" keine Ausgabe sehe bin ich mir jetzt zumindest wieder sicher, dass ich nicht doch ausversehen beim Boardeinbau was demoliert habe und es ein Softwareproblem ist. Ich weiß aber noch nicht wo und blicke leider auch die Zusammenhänge zwischen Playersoftware, Soundmanager, padevchooser, Yast, "Persönlichen Einstellungen", Xine, GStreamer, Phonon, Alsa und/oder OSS noch nicht. Zumal ich schon mit dem Mixer völlig überfordert bin, wenn ich dort 16 Regler bei 3 Buchsen habe (Welcher Kanal wird auf welche Buchse gemapped, brauche ich PCM oder nicht (hab kein SPDIF o.ä.).
Den Updatetrick von http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=259852 hab ich auch schon probiert, keine Änderung.
Nur der Form halber: Ich hänge direkt mit funktionierenden Kopfhören am Ausgang und hab auch schon alle Buchsen durchprobiert.
