Guten morgen,
ich versuche nun seit einigen Stunden erfolglos Wake-On-LAN auf meinem Rechner zum laufen zu bringen. Da mit das einfach nicht gelingen will erfolgt hier nun mein Hilferuf ;-)
Prinzipiell bin ich dieser Anleitung hier gefolgt:

In dem Rechner ist das Mainboard Aus P5Q verbaut. Auf diesem befindet sich der OnBoard Lan-Controller

Der Aufruf von
ethtool eth0
verrät mir, dass WOL vom Prinzip her korrekt eingerichtet sein sollte:
Supports Wake-on: pg
Wake-on: g
Die halt Skripte etc. sind alle korrekt angepasst und das ethtool auch nach einem Neustart wirder obige Ausgabe bringt scheint das ja auch zu funktionieren.
Jetzt zu dem Punkt an dem es meiner Meinung nach hängt:

Ich kann meine LAN-Karte nirgends in /proc/acpi/wakeup finden. Und ab hier stehe ich im Regen und komme nicht weiter.
Ach ja, eins sei noch erwähnt: BIOS-Einstellungen sind alle korrekt gesetzt. Wenn ich den zu weckenden Rechner aus Windows heraus herunterfahre funktioniert das WOL problemlos. Soblad ich jedoch aus Ubuntu herunterfahre erlischt die Link-LED sobald der Rechner aus ist.
Nun noch ein paar allgemeinere Infos:
