mogrify, convert: resize Höhe festlegen

Hallo,

irgendwie bin ich grad etwas ratlos...

ich versuche mit mogrify für ein Bild die exakte Höhe vorzugeben...

convert 01.JPG -resize ×1024 -quality 75 test.jpg

convert: invalid argument for option `×1024': -resize.


in der Doku steht aber folgendes:
If only the width is specified, the width assumes the value and the height is chosen to maintain the aspect ratio of the image. Similarly, if only the height is specified (e.g., -resize x256, the width is chosen to maintain the aspect ratio.

ist das wirklich der exakte Befehl, den Du eingibst? Weil - bei einem einfachen copy-paste hier funktioniert es problemlos.

(wobei das hier bei c&p kein x1024 ist...)

ja, wenn ich copy&paste mache dann kommt der Fehler... hier unter Ubuntu 8.10

auch abgewandelt, also

mogrify 06.JPG -resize ×1024 oder auch
mogrify 06.JPG -resize ×600

ich habe folgende ImageMagick-Version
mogrify --version

mogrify 06.JPG -resize ×1024 - mach mal

mogrify 06.JPG -resize x1024 draus.
also mit x - das Ding zwischen w und y im Alphabet oder y und c auf der Tastatur...

(hier bei mir funktioniert beides - das c&p von Dir und das "richtige")
