KDE startet nicht mehr

Salut!

Hab Suse 9.3, läuft seit Jahren stabil und plötzlich startet der KDE beim einloggen nicht mehr.

In der /var/log/xdm.errors taucht die Fehlermeldung:

(EE) R128(0): No DFP detected

auf, in der Datei ~/.Xauthority stehen seltsame Hyroglyphen:

Reichen diese Informationen aus, um mein Problem zu erklären?

Ich war so frei, kurz zu recherchieren, was dein Problem angeht.

Wie mir scheint, wurde deine config vor kurzem geändert, wie hier angegeben:

# Created on: 2008-09-01T12:12:20+0200.

Wahrscheinlich ist da was schief gelaufen.

So wie ich herausgefunden habe, gibt es mehrere Ursachen für dein Problem.
Gerade in Zusammenhang mit deiner Grafikkarte (Rage128) scheint das Problem wohl an DRI zu liegen. Google hat dazu gemeint, dass es helfen könnte, diese Zeile in deine Modul-Sektion aufzunehmen:


Load "fb"

So wie ich das verstanden habe, hängt das wohl damit zusammen, dass der XServer das FrameBuffer-Gerät nicht findet, warum auch immer.

Vielleicht versuchst du es einfach mal und gibst bescheid, was passiert : )
