Hallo, leider weiss ich bei meinem Mailserver nicht mehr weiter, und ich hoffe jemand kann mir dabei auf die Sprünge helfen oder mir eventuell zeigen was ich übersehen hab.

Da kam ich auch schon drauf, nur betrifft das clamAV und clamAV läuft *dummgugg*
Wird nur nicht unter netstat angezeigt....hmmmm

Ok, darann lag es wohl leider auch nicht, daher jetzt eine andere Frage.

Da mein begrenztes wissen von MTAs schon etwas eingerostet ist und auch längst nicht mehr auf dem neusten Stand ist, frage ich mich ob man mittlerweile die Mail mithilfe von amavisd unbedingt an clamav übergeben musss.

Früher war es doch so das man einfach...

..in die Main.cf eingetragen hat und dann bekam clamav die Mails.

Hat sich das etwa geändert?

Das halte ich für ein Gerücht. ClamAV konnte noch nie direkt mit E-Mails umgehen. Da hat es immer einen entsprechenden Adapter wie amavis, amavisd-new, ClamAssassin oder die Milterschnittstelle benötigt.

Stimmt, ich hatte damals im clamav Paket eine "clamsmtp.conf" enthalten, diese hat das dann wohl geregelt. Was wäre denn am ratsamsten wenn man noch ein paar ressourcen sparen möchte?

Mit amavisd hats funktioniert, allerdings scheint mir amavis etwas zu umfangreich zu sein um es nur wegen Clamav zu installieren, ich brauch es ja ansonsten nicht.

Amavisd-new ist schon in Ordnung. Das kann dann gleich noch den spamd ersetzen und auch die Markierung der E-Mails übernehmen.

So, da icch mich jetzt mal auf einen etwas neueren Stand in sachen MTA bringen wollte dachte ich mir ich maache das ganze jetzt mal mithilfe von einem TUT.

Ein TUT war schnell gefunden, doch jetzt kommts:

Bereits nach dem verknüpfen von Postfix mit postfixadmin soll maan den localen versand von mails testen.

Nichts leicher als das!

Installiert wurde das ganze so:
