Hey,

ich poste mal unter "Spiele", weil mein Problem immer nur beim Spielen auftritt. Allerdings vermute ich, daß es weder mit wine noch mit wiz8 etwas zu tun hat, sondern eher mit nvidia oder mäusen (auf die falsche Fährte lock...?). Konnte bisher keine Lösung finden. Ein wine-Problem scheint es nicht zu sein, da ich bei wine-Abstürzen sonst problemlos das Programm in einer anderen Konsole killen kann.

Während des Spielens friert der Rechner völlig ein. Nichts geht mehr (auch kein strg+alt+ftaste und auch kein strg+alt+backspace) und der sound spielt entweder sein momentanes stück oder stottert. Kaltstart.

- Im syslog entdecke ich nichts, da ist nur der restart vermerkt.
- In Xorg.0.log entdecke ich auch nichts. D.h., zumindest keine Fehler, aber eine Reihe von Warnungen (poste ich unten).

Welche logs können noch Aufschluß geben? Was kann ich machen, um den nächsten Absturz besser zu dokumentieren?

Mein System:
- Linux rattir3 2.6.18-6-486 #1 Sun Feb 10 22:06:33 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux (Debian Etch)
- wine-0.9.57
- GeForce2 GTS/GeForce2 Pro
- uralte noname-Tastatur, uralte Logitech-Maus mit Scrollrad
- nvidia-glx-legacy 1.0.7184-3 Treiber, via apt-get und module-assistent an den aktuellen kernel angepasst

Betreffs meiner Aussage, es könnte an der Maus liegen, ist das ein reines Gefühl (immer wenn die Hand gerade an der Maus war hing es aus einmal?!). Kann eine andere Mauseinstellung in der xorg.conf helfen? Da es anscheinend nur während des Spielens auftritt, und wiz8 ein opengl spiel ist, vermute ich das es irgendwie mit dem Grafikkrams zusammenhängt. In dem Zusammenhang hab ich noch was gefunden:

Nja, bin über Ratschläge sehr erfreut. Sagt mir, was für Informationen noch helfen können / nötig sind um das Problem zu lösen.

Thema hat sich erledigt.

Es war ein Hardwareproblem und lag am Prozessor.

(und meine Beschreibung war ja ganz schön grottig).
