Squid problem mit microsoft update

Hallo!
Habe einen Squid proxy server installiert und das problem, dass komischerweise NUR die MS Update seite nicht angezeigt werden kann.
Woran kann das liegen?

Schau mal in die Squid Logs. Welche Fehlermeldung bekommst du genau?

greg hat recht. Der Generic Host Process for Win32 Services (svchost.exe)muss freigegeben sein. das habe ich inzwischen auch herausbekommen.

Also wenn der TE sagt, dass Windows Update in Verbindung mit Squid nicht funktioniert, dann gehe ich mal davon aus das es ohne Squid läuft. Und da hat svchost.exe erstmal nix mit zu tun.

vielleicht weil man für windowsupdate.com sich einer WGA Prüfung unterziehen muss ;)

Sorry, dass ich mich erst jetzt wieder melde - bin in fehlersuche versunken...geht leider immer noch nicht.
Denke auch nicht, dass es an Win32 Services liegt, denn wie blazilla schon wiederholte, es geht ja ohne squid.

und: es wird natürlich alles original software eingesetzt...

irgendwie mag sich der updater nicht mit dem squid vertragen - aber warum nicht?

das habe ich auch schon versucht-geht leider nicht.
das problem hängt wohl mit der verwendeten proxy_auth zusammen. das mag wohl der windows update client nicht.

Hi zusammen,

ich muss dieses Thema leider nochmal aufgreifen.
Habe zur Zeit das gleiche Problem.
Der Squid ist Version 2.7Stable9 auf einem Debian System.
Es ist keinem Rechner im Netzwerk möglich ein Windows-Update zu machen.
Natürlich kennt jeder Rechner den Proxy und greift auch darauf zu.
Surfen, etc. ist auch alles möglich.
Proxy ist dem System via netsh bekannt gegeben.

Hat jemand ein Idee? Bin schon seit Tagen am Probieren. Nichts geht.
Windows-Systeme fahren Win7 und Vista.

der Proxyserver (inkl. passendem Port )ist als solcher auf den Windowsmaschinen eingetragen und wird für alle Verbindungen verwendet?
