Tach, Servus . erstmal damit kein ärger aufkommt, ich hab diesen beitrag aus versehen schon mal als antwort auf einen beitrag gepostet, deshalb hier nochmal. ich hab auch immer noch probleme mit meiner tv-karte. es hat mir schon jemand die passende firmware als rpm gegeben und die ist installiert, aber in dmesg gibts immernoch eine zeile die besagt : could not read from tuner at addr...
leider hab ich beim googlen nur posts in italienisch oder französisch oder einfach für laien unverständlich gefunden. was bedeutet diese meldung und was tut man dagegen? vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen ich wär sehr dankbar, ich bin echt lernwillig, wenn ihr mir befehle und verzeichnisse usw. vollständig sagt. ach ja noch was, wie setzt man shell-ausdrücke in so ein extra-feld wenn man die in beiträgen postet? vielen dank schon mal, hier die dmesg-ausgabe:

ich hab auch immer noch probleme mit meiner tv-karte. es hat mir schon jemand die passende firmware als rpm gegeben und die ist installiert, aber in dmesg gibts immernoch eine zeile die besagt : could not read from tuner at addr...Man kann es vermutlich aus dem Log rauslesen, aber warum postest Du nicht einfach dazu, welche Karte ist es, wie angeschlossen, welche Distri? Welche Software setzt Du wie ein? Befehl und Systemmeldung bitte im Wortlaut.
ach ja noch was, wie setzt man shell-ausdrücke in so ein extra-feld wenn man die in beiträgen postet?Mit code-Tags, siehe meine Signatur oder die FAQ des Forums. Das geht auch nachträglich mit dem Ändern-Button, dann wird Deine Ausgabe auch lesbar.

also die karte ist eine ads tech dual tv cardbus ptv-331. in YaSt wird sie als automatisch erkannte karte mit dem namen SAA 7133/7135 video broadcast decoder bezeichnet obwohl es unter other vendures den namen des modells selber gibt. ich hab nicht viel ahnung ich versuch aber grade es mir beizubringen, mit logs meinst du wahrscheinlich var/log/messages? ich hab keine ahnung wie ich mir die ansehe oder beurteile. wenn du mir genaue befehle postest probier ich alles aus, und wenn du mirs noch etwas erläuterst geb ich mir aller größte mühe es zu verstehen, versprochen:-) meine befehlseingabe war einfach dmesg heraus kam eben das. YaST sagt für die karte sei kein tuner vorhanden. ich hab ein thinkpad x40 und suse 10.3 installiert. egal mit welcher tv-software es läuft nicht. ich hab beim googlen auch viele beiträge gefunden zu dem thema dieser chip scheint ein generelles problem zu sein unter linux quer durch die distros und hersteller der karten. hier nochmal die ausgabe:

da bin ich wieder, dmesg zeigt inzwischen besagte zeile nicht mehr an, aber trotzdem findet YaST2 bei der Kanalabfrage keine stationen und auch die tv-applikationen finden nichts. tvtime zeigt z.b. an "Kein Signal". wär echt toll wenn mal jemand helfen könnte, es scheinen nicht viele leute meine karte zu benutzen bzw. sie haben andere probleme damit, jedenfalls krieg ichs allein durch googlen nicht hin. ach ja noch was, was bedeutet die ausgabe für ALSA? und was bedeuten die ausgaben für ACPI? ich hab das alles mal rot markiert. vielen dank für jede hilfe.
