Hi!

Ich benutze Debian, und habe ein Notebook mit Santa Rose Chipsatz. Die WLAN Karte soll nach zahlreichen Anleitungen funktionieren.

Ich konnte den Treiber auch laden, und die Hardware wurde von ndiswrapper auch gefunden.

Ein "modprobe ndiswrapper" warf allerdings einene Speicherzugriffehler aus.

Was sagt den lspci ?

Diese zahlreichen Berichte sind dann wahrscheinlich auf Distributionen bezogen, die einen etwas älteren Kernel haben, Stichwort mac80211-Stack.

Hi embedded,

also mir erzählt Tante Google, dass du ein "Intel 4965AGN"-Chip verbaut hast. Viellecht erzählt sie dir das selbe und dann noch welche Treiber und Firmware du brauchst. ;)

Aber Spaß bei seite, schau mal ob du mit den Treibern und Firmware (http://www.joomart.de/debian/pool/main/i/) was anfangen kannst! Ist halt schwer zu testen wenn man die Karte selber nicht hat.

Wenn du in sachen Distri eher flexiebel bist, würd ich mal ubuntu 7.10 (auf der live CD) testen. Dort müsste die Karte imoh out of the box funktionieren.
