Hallo Leute,
ich hab ein kleines Problem mit dem zocken unter Linux. Hab die Opensuse 10.3 und das neueste wine installiert.
Allerdings will wine sich nicht von mir konfigurieren lassen.
Wenn ich
wincfg eingebe kommt folgende fehlermeldung: (als normaler user und als root bzw. su)
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".

habt ihr eine ahnung, was ich da machen kann? das ist eingetlich momentan das einzige, was mich noch am windows - linux switch abhält ^^.

und was genau soll ich da jetzt rauslesen?
Den neuesten ATI treiber habe ich für meine Grafikkarte (Radeon 9600 pro) installiert. Soweit wie ich das lesen konnte waren das die probleme der benutzer der google search results. 3D hab ich im SAX2 auch aktiviert. Ansonsten würde mir nichts auffallen, was ich nicht gemacht hätte.
Hast du vielleicht noch andere tips?

Da Du ja nicht mal Deine xorg.conf gepostet hast prüf einmal ob dort auch

eingetragen ist. Sonst mal mit
fglrxinfo
prüfen ob der ATI Treiber überhaupt richtig geladen wird.
ok problem hat sich geklärt.. aus welchem grund auch immer aber es geht jetzt ^^. vielen dank euch :D

ich dachte zumindest alle meine Probleme wären nun gelöst. Scheibenkleister.
Wine funktioniert jetzt fehlerlos lässt sich auch konfigurieren nur jetzt hab ich ein Problem noch. Hab dann gleich mal Warcraft 3 installiert und natürlich auch gleich zum zocken anfangen aber als ich das Spiel gestartet habe wurde ich von übelsten Rucklern überrascht.
Jetzt frage ich mich woran kann das liegen?
mein xorg.conf lautet wiefolgt wenn diese etwas hilft:

wine war3.exe -opengl
hättest du leicht hier im Forum finden können, oder wenn du bei einer Suchmaschine "Warcraft3 Linux" eingibst.
