Hallo,
ich habe ein Problem mit einem USB 2.0 PCMCIA-Hub. Dieses wird eigentlich korrekt erkannt, denn " tail -f /var/log/messages" meldet nach dem Einstecken folgendes:

Wenn ich jetzt aber USB Geräte, z.B. einen Speicherstick an einem der USB Ports anschließe passiert nichts. Es erscheint keine Meldung. Am normalen USB 1.0 Port des Laptops wird der Stick dagegen automatisch erkannt.
Hat jemand eine Idee?
Distri ist übrigens Ubuntu.

Ich hab jetzt mal eine USB Tastatur angeschlossen, die funktioniert problemlos. Also betrifft das ganze nur USB Speichermedien.
