Hallo Community,
ich habe ein Problem, ich wollte einen vsftp Server installieren, der Server läuft auch perfekt und alles, doch wenn ich mich anmelden will bekomme ich immer 530 Login incorrect, woran kann das liegen ?

Was wichtiges habe ich vergessen, Distri ist CentOS 5 !!!

Hier das vsftpd.log:

hier noch /etc/ftp/users wurde mit htpasswd erzeugt:

Und hier noch zu guter letzt meine /etc/vsftpd.user_list

ich danke euch, für eure bemühungen, ich suche schon seit 2 Tagen aber ich kann den Fehler nicht finden.

so _richtig_ helfen kann ich dir auch nicht, da ich zur Zeit vsftpd nichtmehr am laufen habe.

Beschreibe mal (für diejenigen die vsftpd installiert haben) was genau du machst um an die Fehlermeldung zu kommen: loggst als lokaler User ein oder gehst du über die Firewalls (externe IP oder dyndns)? Im letzteren Falle : sind die ports offen die benötigt werden ?

Passiert das auch wenn du ftp 127.0.0.1 machst ?

hab leider auch keine ahnung, aber evtl. verlangt er eine andere verschlüsselung im htpasswd


-m Force MD5 encryption of the password.
-d Force CRYPT encryption of the password (default).

evtl. will er ja md5

glaub ich nicht.. das würde er dir sagen... heute zu spät, Di oder Mi guck ich mal ob ich mein vsftpd config noch finde... aber bis dahin hat bestimmt schon jemand geantwortet "der sich damit auskennt" .... ;-)

Was war denn die Antwort auf

.. guck mal in den Thread hier: http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=241073 aber bitte übernehme nicht die Umgangsformen des Fragestellers (mit 4 Bier intus würde ich keine Fragen mehr posten .....)

Ich hatte meinen PC mit ftp Server immer nur stundenweise im Netz... nen Dauerserver-Einsatz sollte man mit meinen Kenntnissen nicht fahren ... guck mal unter "Sicherheit" hier im Forum , auch "rootserver" wäre was.

Ich danke euch allen sehr, aber ich habe mich jetzt für proftp entschieden, der ist ziemlich einfach zu konfigurieren und die Configs sind apache sehr ähnlich!!
