USB-Headset zum Vorhören nutzen

Mein USB-Headset (Plantronics) möchte ich zum Vorhören nutzen (z.B. mit XMMS oder audacious).

Nun möchte ich mit Amarok meine onboard Soundkarte "anfahren" (VIA).

Wie muss meine asound.conf dafür aussehen?

Natürlich soll ALSA genutzt werden.

Wenn du in XMMS unter Preferences -> Audio I/O Plugins -> Output Plugin das ALSA output plugin wählst, kannst du unter Configure dein Audiodevice auswählen. Hier sollte neben deiner On-Board Karte dann auch das Plantronics Headset auftauchen.
