habe linux root server mit debian

habe auf diesem server mehrere Benutzer eingerichtet

z.B. Gameserver

da unser server laggte entschlossen wir uns einen neuen Kernel zu machen

nun läuft der server, und läggt nicht mehr beim zocken, aber man kann nicht mehr mit winscp3 als gameserver connecten, auch putty geht nicht mehr nur noch anmeldung als root

wenn ich bei putty mich z.B. einlogge als

aaaah... hat ich auch mal. es liegt irgendwo im /etc/ ein file (weiss nimmer wie's heisst). wenn das file da liegt, lässt linux keinen user anmelden wegen reboot. file löschen und gut ist... muss was mit boot oder so sein. sooo viele files sinds ja nicht einfach mal suchen ;)

jo löschen geht, aber nach dem neustart vom server ist die datei einfach wieder da, schitt,

unser linuxmensch ist nicht da und mir fehlt der mut nen neuen kernel zu machen

Wenn es laengere Zeit nicht geht, solltest du als root uns mal
/var/log/messages (die letzten ~100 Zeilen) posten.

ich versuche mich mit winscp (aktuelle) einzuloggen, meine einstellungen sind so geblieben, nur nach dem neuen kernel, der übrigens beschissen läuft geht dies nicht mehr, auch kann ich kein update von php4 machen oder sonstiges, bekomme immer fehlermeldungen

Kleiner Tip am Rande: Pack Deine Ausgaben, insbesondere die in #12 doch mal in code-Tags, wie in meiner Signatur ersichtlich (das geht auch nachträglich). Dann finden sich vllt. mehr Leute die das lesen, weil man keine Angst mehr vor Augenkrebs haben muss.
