Hallo,

ich habe schon die SUFU und google genutzt...
Ich habe das Problem dass ich über Kde nicht runterfahren kann. Wenn ich in die Konsole init 6 z.B eintippe dann klappt alles aber über die Oberfläche eben nicht.
Was könnte ich tun? Woran liegt das?

Init 6 = Reboot und nicht shutdown.
Um ACPI auszuschließen brauche wir mehr Angaben über Dein System. Board. BIOS usw.

aber über die Oberfläche eben nicht.
Und das versuchst du genau wie? Steht was in den kdm-Logs? Fehlermeldungen?

über die Oberfläche schalte ich einfach auf das kde zeichen und dann Abmelden und dann auf Herunterfahren.

Ich weiß dass init 6 ein reboot ist - sollte nur ein beispiel sein.


Um ACPI auszuschließen brauche wir mehr Angaben über Dein System. Board. BIOS usw.

Board: Asus P5B Deluxe
Graka: nvidia 8800 GTS
BIOS: puh....wüsste jetzt nicht wo ich nachschauen könnte - im Bios selsbt :confused:

bräuchtet ihr sonst noch was?

Es ging nur darum zu erfahren, ob es ein altes oder neueres Board ist - sieht recht neu aus.
Wie äußert sich denn das "nicht runterfahren" können genau?

Ok hab die BIOS Version: v02.58 bzw. 1004 stand beim Booten.

Ich klicke auf runterfahren und dann schaltet sich kde aus - der Bildschirm wird schwarz und dann passiert gar nichts. Er bleibt komplett schwarz.

Auch /var/log/messages
