WinTV USB2 Treiberprobleme

Hallo Hab folgendes Problem

Hab ne externe TV- Karte WinTV USB2 von Hauppauge über die ich unter Ubuntu 7.04 fernsehen will welchen treiber könnt ihr empfehlen?

Bin zur info noch Anfänger in Linux Sachen also bitte eine Idiotensichere Erklärung ;) . Danke
Wenn ihr noch infos braucht sagt ich werd versuchen sie euch zu geben.

Für diesen TV-Tuner ist der Treiber bereits im Standard-Kernel von Ubuntu integriert. Installiere z.B. tvtime und konfiguriere dieses (PAL, Deutschland etc.). Anschließend machst du einen Scan darin und du solltest TV schauen können.

hab das programm installiert neugestartet und nun läuft es nicht kommt für weniger als eine Sekunde ein zu sehen was sich sofort wieder schließt ohne eine Fehlermeldung.

Starte tvtime mal aus der Konsole heraus und schau dir die Ausgabe dessen an.
Desweiteren könntest du mal folgendes machen:

WinTV-Box von USB abziehen
Als root: tail -f /var/log/messages
WinTV-Box anschließen
Die neu erschienenen Zeilen von tail hier posten

Das sind die Informationen, die der Kernel über das neu angeschlossene Device ausgibt.

Hab jetzt Suse 10.2 draufgehauen weil meine Tv- Karte in meinem Pc problemlos mit Suse erkannt wurde hab mir gedacht probierste es. Suse hat sie erkannt aber die Farben sind bei MOTV mal normal dann mal wieder verfälscht mal ton dann wieder nicht und bei KDETV was ich sehr gern nutzen möchte geht im Moment garnix.
