Ich habe einen Router mit Firewall unter Open SuSE 10.2. Das ganze lief auch ganz gut bis ich amavis/clam installiert hatte. Zudem wollte diese Dienste ebenfalls den Dienst network starten, der bis dahin nicht benötigt wurde. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt starten nach dem Neustart der named, dhcpd und der ntpd nicht mehr automatisch. Zwar werden diese Dienste aktiv angezeigt, funktionieren aber nicht richtig (eigentlich garnicht). Mit /etc/init.d/*** restart oder ähnlichem tut sich ebenfalls nichts. Erst wenn ich named oder dhcpd oder ntpd eingebe funktionieren die Dienste entsprechend meinen Erwartungen. Ich habe auch schonmal den Dienst network entfernt. Das war leider contraproduktiv.

Hat jemand 'ne Ahnung woran das liegt??? Mein Hauptinteresse ist allerdings einfach nur nach einem reboot in Runlevel 3, dass der Server alle Funktionen automatisch erfüllt

Du solltest mal in die logfiles schauen, sonst kann man nur raten. z.B.
dmesg eingeben oder mit
less /var/log/messagesdas logfile ansehen. Dort müsste drin stehen, warum das nicht funktioniert. Im Zweifelsfalle einfach den entsprechenden Ausschnitt hier mal posten.
