Hi,
i have following problem:
Under linux i use "smbclient" to acess shared folder on a server cluster. This cluster consists of two physical different servers and two different IP-addresses, but has one virtual IP-address for outside. Connection from smbclient to this server cluster using the virtual IP-address failed, but has successs using one of the real IP-addresses.
I have experienced the same problem mit "mount -t smbfs". If i use "mount -t cifs", the problem dispears.
So my question is, how can i let "smbclient" use cifs protocol?
I will appreciate any help.
thank you.
John
