Hallo,
Ja, dieses Thema gab es schon ein paar mal, trotzdem komm ich nicht weiter.
Ich nutze exim4 und mySQL. Sobald ich mich in exim einloggen will, komm folgender Fehler:
MYSQL connection failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
In my.cnf und debian.cnf ist aber folgendes eingestellt, was ich auch so belassen will.
socket = /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
Eine Änderung auf /tmp/mysql.sock hat leider auch nichts gebracht.
Die Rechte passen soweit auch.
Hat jemand noch einen Tipp?
Und warum zur Hölle will exim auf '/tmp/mysql.sock', wenn von der Socket wo anders liegt?
