Xine konnte keine Audio Treiber initialisieren

Und schon wieder ein Problem - ohne das vorher war großartiges am System geändert wurde.........
Normal heruntergefahren und beim nächsten neustart ging (warum auch immer) der Ton nicht mehr......

hw:1 ist die sonst genutzte Audiokarte.

Warum ging es immer und plötzlich nicht mehr ?
(ich dachte so was gibs nur bei win :eek: )

Info: Beim starten bleibt er etwas länger beim Laden des ,,HAL-Dämons" stehen, hackt den schritte dann aber doch mit [ Ok ] ab

Sag mal, das liegt jetzt hoffentlich nicht daran, dass bereits ein anderes Programm Sound ausgibt und deine Audiokarte blockiert?

Nein, es läuft ausser z.b Amarok nichts anderes.

Jetzt habe ich es nach einer Google recherche mal mit arts probiert und es scheint wieder zu gehen - komische Sache...

der firefox kann das schon blockieren solange kein Soundserver am laufen ist ...

Naja, da braucht ja nur z.B. Gaim einen Ton auszuspucken, dann ist der Sound erstmal blockiert; die meisten Applikationen geben die Audio-Devices nicht so leicht wieder her.
Da hilft halt ein Soundserver wie arts oder esd. Oder eine Karte mit Hardware-Mixing. Oder dmix mit Alsa einrichten. Oder OSS4; die Treiber richten eigentlich mehr virtuelle Geräte ein, als man in den meisten Fällen braucht.

Das Problem trat erst nach einem Absturz Amaroks bei der Zuweisung von Tastenkürzel auf. Mit Arts, esd usw. gibt es die gleichen Probleme.

Kaffeine geht übrigens auch nicht, das schmiert sogar gleich ab und meldet folgendes:

gxine, kmplayer und vlc hingegen spielen Musik problemlos ab - auch xine gibt bei der DVD-Wiedergabe Ton aus.
Bei allen eben genannten Programmen gehts es mit alsa, esd und arts (mehr habe ich nicht probiert)
