manche flv dateien...

hi...

ich habe das problem das mache .flv (z.B. http://lln-videos.metacafe.com/ItemFiles/%5BFrom%20www.metacafe.com%5D%20449656.3128468.11. flv) videos auf meinem linux-rechner nicht laufen...
es geht weder
1) das umwandeln des videos in ein anderes format mit ffmpeg
2) ein screenshot vo ndem video zu machen (mit mplayer)

"Alle" ist ja relativ. Was sagt "mplayer -vo help" und was "file /die/gerne/gesehene/datei"?

Habe das hier mal mit Deiner Beispieldatei nachvollzogen. Ton geht bedingt, Bild nicht.

Die Ausgabe von file wirkt auch nicht sehr vertrauenerweckend. Bist Du sicher, daß es ein fehlerfreies Flash-Video ist?

naja... es ist ja von metacafe.com...

ich glaube nicht das deren gesammtes content fehlerhaft ist... außerdem kann es ja ein flashplayer (z.b. unter windows) abspielen...

hast du auch keine idee, was es sein könnte?
vieleicht irgend eine nicht unterstützte flv-version?

Eine Idee, woran das liegt, habe ich natürlich, aber die resultiert aus der eindeutigen Fehlermeldung des mplayer...

Andere *.flv werden abgespielt?

Sry, ausser einem fehlenden Codec bzw. defekter Datei fällt mir auf Anhieb nichts ein.

aber ich mein, metacafe.com macht ja hochstw*****einlich auch automatische screenshots... wie müssen die flvs ja auch lesen können...

Auch wenn euch das wohl nur bedingt weiter hilft: Die Datei selbst schein fehlerfrei zu sein (Unter Ubuntu Feist Fawn Herd5 läuft sie). Ich habe es allerdings mit xine probiert. Ubuntu installiert auf Wunsch die Codecs automatisch nach, die für Videos benötigt werden.
