Hallo
Habe gleich ein Problem.
Soweit habe ich die Radeon 9800 Pro gut installiert bekommen ohne Fehlermeldungen.
Nachdem ich alles von hier http://de.opensuse.org/SDB:ATI_Treiber_unter_SUSE_installieren
befolgt habe, kann ich nun folgendes:
Kontrollzentrum -> Desktop-Effekte steht nun:
Es konnte nicht ermittelt werden, ob Ihre Grafikkarte von Xgl unterstützt wird. Sie scheint jedoch 3D-Beschleunigung zu unterstützen.
Um Xgl zu aktivieren, klicken Sie unten auf "Desktop-Effekte aktivieren". Dadurch werden Sie abgemeldet und der Anmeldebildschirm wird wieder angezeigt.
Wenn der Anmeldebildschirm nicht wieder eingeblendet wird, müssen Sie Xgl über die Kommandozeile aktivieren, indem Sie sich als "root" anmelden und folgenden Befehl ausführen:
gnome-xgl-switch --disable-xgl
Installiert hab ich SuSE/SUSE102-IA32
Da kann ich nun die Effekte aktivieren, wenn ich es aktiviert habe, soll man die Sitzung neu Starten. Wenn ich das mache, kommen Hyroglyphen mit einem Text im Kasten etwa "gdm Fehler beheben".
Gehe danach als root ins System und deaktivere die Effekte. Wenn ich das gemacht habe, kann ich mich auch wieder als User im Gnome anmelden.
Und jetzt ein paar Daten, falls diese wichtig sind.

Also bis auf diesen Fehler wie ganz oben beschrieben, funktionert das ganze. Fehlt jetzt nur noch wohl eine kleine Einstellung. ;)

Also bis auf diesen Fehler wie ganz oben beschrieben, funktionert das ganze. Fehlt jetzt nur noch wohl eine kleine Einstellung. ;)
