Ich habe mir jetzt Enemy Territory installiert, installation abgeschlossen...
Preisfrage: Wie kann ich jetzt spielen?
Im Startmenü ist kein Eintrag..

woran kann das liegen?
Um die mir wahrscheinlichste Frage vorweg zu nehmen: Ja, es sind 3d-Treiber installiert und konfiguriert.

Joa, kann an einige Sachen liegen...

Um sicher zu gehn:
In der xorg.conf steht auch wirklich "nvidia" und nicht "nv"?
Ist die Farbtiefe auf 24 Bit? (Bei manchen Spielen gibts Probleme bei falscher Farbtiefe)

Vorausgesetzt, es ist auch eine NVidia GraKa... Was für eine ist es denn und wie sieht die /etc/X11/xorg.conf aus? Auffälligkeiten in der /var/log/Xorg.0.log? Was sagt fglrxinfo?

Ohne eine Lösung parat zu haben

Lösung habe ich nicht, es gibt aber schon viele Threads zu dem Prob afair.

Wenn die Suchfunktion Dir nicht weiterhilft: Mach einen eigenen Thread auf, schildere Dein System, liefere Info und Meldungen des Systems im Wortlaut. "ohne Sound" ist keine brauchbare Information...

Hi,

die Fehlermeldungen siehst du in der Konsole, in der du ET startest. Ich bin zwar nicht der Gamer, habe aber ET auf mehreren Rechnern schon "installiert". Wenn sonst der Sound geht, dann gib mal als root in einer Konsole

echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss

ein und starte dann als Benutzer ET.

es ist kaum vorstellbar, dass es keine Fehlermeldung gibt.

Startest Du et in der Konsole? Wenn ja dann schau Dir mal genau an was da alles steht.

Ist /dev/dsp vorhanden?
