WLAN Suse 10.2 und Broadcom wlan

Hallo,

ich habe einen Laptop Fujitsu/Siemens amilo A. Eingebaut ist ein Broadcom wlan-chip. Als System läuft SuSE 10.2.
Ich habe den bcm-firmware-cutter installiert, und damit die Firmware nach /lib/firmware gebracht. Aber ich kann einstelen, was ich will, e kommt keine Verbindung zwischen Laptop und Router zustande. Am Router liegts nicht, da ansonsten alle auf den Router kommen. Mit dem Ndiswrapper hab ich es auch schon versucht, aber auch ds klappt nicht.
Ist mir noch zu helfen?

ich habe es in den letzten Tagen ebenfalls mit einer solchen Konstellation versucht und irgendwann auch hinbekommen. :)
Ich habe es dadurch hinbekommen, dass ich die Treiber manuell installiert habe, wie in der Wiki (nach WLAN suchen) beim linux-club.de beschrieben. Irgendwie scheint die Suse 10.2 nicht sauber zu installieren, sodass irgendwie die Treiber nicht funktionieren. Meine Broadcom-Karte funtkioniert aber auch mit dem Linux-Treiber (bcm43xx), ndiswrapper brauche ich da nicht.

Bei mir funktionierte das bcm43xx-Modul zuletzt nur ohne WPA, deswegen benutze ich immernoch ndiswrapper.

Mit YaST? Oder yum? Ist doch bestimmt bei Deiner Distri dabei ...
Es sei denn Du hast die 64-Bit-Version, dann könnte es vielleicht komplizierter werden: http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=228990

Vielleicht liegt es dann daran, ich gab nämlich die 64-Bit Version.
WEnn ich weiter bin, sag ich Bescheid, sieht aber momentan Mau aus.

Ein wenig mehr Infos bezüglich Deiner Konfiguration wären gute Idee.

Art der Einrichtungsmethode? (Ifup oder NWmanager?)

Mal in den Logs nach Fehlermeldungen gesucht? Was sagen ifconfig und iwconfig? Wie sehen die Konfigurationsdateien aus?

Du kannst mal "mithören"



sudo tail -f /var/log/messagesin einer Konsole aufrufen und in der zweiten Konsole Modul entladen/laden, Netzwerkverbindungen starten/stoppen, Interface up/down und nachsehen, was die "Mitschnittkonsole" so ausspuckt.

Und das ganze hier natürlich auch posten.

Sofern Du es nun doch mit dem ndiswrapper versuchst, solltest Du unbedingt das bcm43xx-Modul entladen:


rmmod bcm43xx
