hallo ich habe auch meinem laptop (amilo pi 1505) kubuntu 6.10 edgy laufen. wlan ging problemlos, doch auf einmal wird die karte nicht mehr erkannt...
ich habe keine ahnung warum, ich war am abend noch übers wlan bei mir zuhause im internet und am nächste morgen erkannte er nach dem hochfahren die karte nicht mehr. das einzige war, das ich mit macchanger die mac-adresse zum testen geändert hatte und das vor dem runterfahren nicht wieder rückgängig gemacht habe, aber ist das denn problematisch?

jedenfalls sagt mir lspci -vvv das zur wlan-karte

Wieso gibt es das Interface jetzt nicht mehr?
Probier doch mal ein 'ifconfig eth1 up'. Kann natuerlich auch sein, dass udev da bisschen rumgemurkst hat und das Interface jetzt anders heisst. Bspw. eth2 oder eth3.

Schau mal in /etc/udev/rules.d nach einer Datei mit dem Namen "net_persistent_names.rules", wahrscheinlich steht noch eine Zahl davor.

Poste den Inhalt dieser Datei und auch (falls bei Edgy noch vorhanden) den von /etc/iftab.

Poste des weiteren die Ausgabe von:
sudo grep -ir eth1 /etc/*

ich hab das nur bei mir zuhause getestet, wollte wissen wie schnell man wirklich verschlüsselte netze knacken kann, die nachbarn interessieren mich nicht und internet habe ich auch ;)
