Wie installiere ich den Midnight Commander?

habe Kubuntu ! wie installiere ich den Midnightcommander !

wieso funktioniert das nicht mit dem Befehl "apt-get mc"!

nein das geht auch nicht ! das komische ist , zuvor hatte ich Ubuntu drauf und da klappte es mit "sudo apt-get mc" !

nein habe ich nicht ! wobei ich auch nichts im Paketmanager "Adept Manager" mit Universe gefunden habe !

Hast Du vorher ein "sudo apt-get update" abgesetzt? Was steht in Deiner /etc/apt/sources.list? Und probier auch mal "sudo apt-cache search mc" bzw nach dem update ein "sudo apt-get search mc".

Hallo,

entweder Du benutzt Synaptic oder apt-get.
Auf die Schnelle:


System --> Administration --> Synaptic

Dann Einstellungen --> Paketquellen --> fehlende Quellen markieren

Dann --> Neu laden

Dann in der Suche nach dem mc suchen und Anwenden klicken.


Alternativ in /etc/apt/sources.list die universe Pakete entauskommentieren (geiles Wort).
Dann
apt-get update
apt-get install mc

hmm also diese Synaptic habe ich nicht ! lediglich diesen adept manager !

Dann am besten mit dem Editor deiner Wahl, z.B. kate, direkt die sourcen.list bearbeiten

sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list

Du müßtest dort eine Zeile haben die ungfähr so aussieht

deb http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy main
Diese so ändern das sie so aussieht

deb http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy main restricted multiverse universe

Danach dann

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mc

So sieht diese aus ! was ersetze ich da jetzt ! es gibt nämlich mehrere möglichkeiten wie ich finde , bei deinen auswahlkriterien!
