Hallo Leute,
wir haben in der Schule eine Access-Datenbank auf einem ganz normel PC der als Samba-Server (SUSE9.3) installiert wurde auf einer extra IDE-Platte liegen. Die Clients sind Windows 2000 Rechner. Leider wird die Datenbank mit zunehmender Anzahl der Clients (ab 3 Clients) extrem langsam bzw. stürtzt einmal pro Woche ab. Andere Anwendungen laufen problemlos. Liegt es an der smb.conf oder am zu langsamen Zugriff auf die Festplatte? Lohnt sich die Anschaffung eines richtigen Servers?
Oplocks habe ich bereits deaktiviert.
