postfix smto: unknown password verifier

hi,

bekomm in meinen Logsfiles immer folgende Meldung:
Nov 5 16:35:25 h824684 postfix/smtpd[20871]: warning: SASL authentication problem: unknown password verifier
Nov 5 16:35:25 h824684 postfix/smtpd[20871]: warning: .....IP.....: SASL LOGIN authentication failed


dementsprechend funktioniert das senden der Mails auch nicht.
unter /etc/sysconfig/saslauthd hab ich: SASLAUTHD_AUTHMECH="rimap -O mail.ebito.de" eingetragen.

mast.cf von postfix sieht so aus:

smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtpd_sasl2_auth_enable = yes
smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
smtpd_tls_auth_only = no
broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes
smtpd_recipient_restrictions = check_sender_access hash:/etc/postfix/access, check_recipient_access hash:/etc/postfix/access, permit_sasl_authenticated, permit_mynetworks, permit_maps_rbl, permit_mx_backup, check_relay_domains, permit

lag an einer fehlerhafen Installation. Funktioniert jetzt aber, neues Problem:

hab mich jetzt durchs Internet durchgeschlagen und meine smtp.conf sieht so aus:

pwcheck_method: saslauthd
mech_list: PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5 DIGEST-MD5
log_level: 3
saslauthd_path: /var/run/sasl2/mux
autotransition:true

bekomm jedoch folgende Meldung in den Logs:

Nov 6 13:31:26 h824684 postfix/smtpd[30342]: warning: SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: No such file or directory


also zum Verständnis, ich will das der mir die Passwörter aus der shadow holt. Verwende rimap.
