Erst mal Hallo an alle!
Ich hab ein Problem mit meiner Graka das mich bald zum Explodieren bringt.
Erst ma mein System:

Athlon XP 2600+
1GB DDR-Ram
Radeon 9600Pro 256MB
Mandriva Linux 2007 Free

So hab mir die Treiber von ati.com gezogen. funktionieren eigentlich. PPracer läuft flüssig...

Das einzige was mir als kleiner noob :D hier auffällt, ist das glxgears ziemlich suckt.
Naja auf jeden Fall wenn ich bei cedega die systemtests durchlaufen lasse, erkennt es die 3D-Beschleunigung nicht:

Spiele kann ich zwar starten, kann man zwar starten aber sind nicht spielbar
(ca. 1Frame pro 3sec :( )

Was ist das für ne Sch....?
Würd mich sehr freuen wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen könnte

also ich hab nix gefunden. keine fehlermeldungen...

aber per Zuffal habe ich jetzt die 3D-Beschleunigung zum laufen gebracht. Hab 3D-Desktop-Effekte
mit XGL eingestellt und solala:

Hab jetzt mal den ati-8.28.8-treiber per PLF-Server installiert.
Auch das selbe Problem. Was zum Teufel kann das sein?

Hallihallo,
hab das selbe Problem in meiner Suse 10.0 und meiner 9600TX (MEDION)
Treiber ist der 8.28.8
3D funkt aber seht selbst ;)

661 frames in 5.0 seconds = 132.200 FPS
651 frames in 5.0 seconds = 130.200 FPS
657 frames in 5.0 seconds = 131.400 FPS

hoffe mir/uns kann einer helfen^^

Vllt sollte ich noch erwähnen, dass meine Graka im Windows garnicht geht. Der Ladescreen geht noch aber sobald der Wilkommenscreen kommt und die Windows Startermusik, kann man nichts mehr erkennen. Das System läuft jedoch einwandfrei weiter.

Bin für JEDE hilfe dankbar.

Ich hab hier noch eine Nvidia FX5200 TDR128 rumliegen.
Könnte ich damit mehr Glück haben?
