Ich verwende die CustomLog-Direktive um in eine eigene Logdatei zu protokollieren.
Konfiguration:
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" common
LogFormat "%{Referer}i -> %U" referer
LogFormat "%{User-agent}i" agent

CustomLog logs/access_log common
Die Log-Datei wird zwar von Apache angelegt, enthält aber auch nach mehreren Zugriffen auf Webpages kein Protokoll:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2006-10-09 10:15 access_log
Die Datei enthält auch nach beliebig vielen Zugriffen 0 Bytes, ich kann mir aber nicht erklären warum das so ist...
