Hallo zusammen,

Habe jetzt die SB Live 24 bit External erfolgreich aktivieren können! - Beim Aufruf von alsamixer erscheint jedoch nur
eine Einstellungsmöglichkeit für PCM - siehe angehängte Grafik! - Ist das normal!?

Weiss jemand Rat!? - Vielen Dank im voraus!

Sieht klasse aus :) Du könntest mal versuchen von playback über capture auf all zu wechseln (mittels tab und pfeiltasten ?)

Hmmm lsusb -v ist doch etwas unübersichtlich (Ich denke die Formatierung wäre im code Kontainer '#' übersichtlicher gewesen). Außerdem hast >Du alles gepostet, und nicht nur den audio Teil.

lsusb (ohne -v) ist vielleicht etwas besser um die vendorID und productID zu erfahren. Es sieht aber so aus, als ob das device nicht richtigf erkannt wird (vid 0x0000 pid 0x0000).

modinfo snd-usb-audio listet alle vid und pid die momentan unterstützt werden, und die Möglichkeit die tatsächlichern parameter zu übergeben, falls sie nicht gelistet sein sollte.

Du könntest auch mal versuchen mit sudo rmmod snd-usb-audio das modul zu entfernen, und es mit sudo modprobe snd-usb-audio erneut zu laden, und direkt im Anschluß mit dmesg|tail schauen, was der kernel dabei für Meldungen ausgegeben hat.

Eine andere Möglichkeit wäre dmesg|egrep -i "(audio|usb|snd)" oder egrep -i "(audio|usb|snd)" /var/log/messages .

Du könntest auch die ganzen Tests in knoppix wiederholen, und mit den tests in SuSE vergleichen!
