Monitorfrequenz

Hallo an euch,

Ich würde gerne meine Monitorfrequenz höher stellen,
Jedoch kann ich in den Systemeinstellungen unter Kubuntu maximal 60 Hz einstellen.

Der Monitor flackert ark...

Konfiguriere den Monitor in der Datei /etc/X11/xorg.conf entsprechend und starte danach den kdm neu.

Und was genau hätte ich ändern sollen?

Bearbeite die Datei mit root-Rechten:

sudo vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Wenn du nicht weiter weisst, poste die Datei bitte hier und die Daten deines Monitors.

Also ich möchte eine Frequenz von 75 hz mit einer Auflösung von 1024 x 768.
Mein Monitor ist ein LG Flatron ez T710B.

VertRefresh 50-70

Eine Auflösung von 75 hz wirst Du nur bekommen, wenn die Werte in VertRefresh höher gestellt werden.
Du solltest dort die genauen Werte aus dem Monitorhandbuch für horiz/vert eintragen.
