Hi,

also ich hab Xine Kompiliert. Fast alles schön und gut jedoch finde ich niergends eine ausführbare datei!

das einzige was zu verfügung steht ist xine-config und damit kann ich nicht viel anfangen, außer nachzuschauen ob es die von mir gewollte version ist.

grund für den versuch es selbst zu kompilieren war das ich xvid dateien nicht abspielen kann. die ratschläge über die ich über die Suchfunktion gefunden hatte haben nichts gebracht.

Hallo Ruede,

mit welchen Optionen hast Du ./configure ausgeführt?
make install hast Du auch ausgeführt?
was ergibt ein whereis xine?
hast Du auch xine-ui installiert?

mehr ist bei xine aber nicht dabei, xine ist eine Library, kein Programm. Zum abspielen von Videos brauchst du zB noch die xine-ui...

bei xinelib nur "./configure" ohne optionen
make install habe ich auch durchgeführt, meine ich zumindest.

ah ok jetzt weiß ich warum da lib im namen ist also ich hab mir noch xine-ui runtergeladen

Make sure your /etc/ld.so.conf contains /usr/local/lib and continue with:

den schritt hab ich in verkehrter reihenfolge gemacht.
ich werd gleich wissen ob es geklappt hat.

wie bekomme ich dann die xine datei in das startmenü unter anwendungen ?

ok funzt

aber Xvids gehen immer noch nicht :( und so manch andere auch nicht. die auflösung wird zwar erkannt der bildschirm bleibt aber popel-grün. :(
und bei den filmen bei denen es geht flimmert es an der rechten seite. woran das liegen könnte, keine ahnung :(

sound funktioniert weitgehend prima -> komisch

und:
