alsa: kein sound

ich hab grade unter dem 2.4er kernel alsa kompiliert und wollte nun eine mp3 mit mpg123 in der kommandozeile amspielen, das slaegt aber fehl. leider find ich den fehler nicht. beim alsamixer hab ich alles hochgedreht. aber alsaconf schlaegt fehl.

Sind die alsa-utils installiert? Das würde mir jetzt spontan einfallen, weil er in /bin etc nichts findet. Ansonsten hätte ich auch keine Ahnung.. :/
Sorry ich bin dumm, alsamixer ist ja in den alsa-utils. Vielleicht könnte neu installieren der alsa-utils helfen.

habse nochmal neu installiert, evlt stimmt ja der path nicht, aber ich weis ja auch nizcht was der sucht und zu checken obs im path ist

"dialog" hat gefehlt, so wies dasteht :) .. hab installiert und jetzt geht alsaconf

allerding sagt er mir folgendes:

Um was für eine Soundkarte handelt es sich denn überhaupt?
Und welche Kernel- und Alsaversionen verwendest du?

Hast du beim Alsamixer auch wirklich die Kanäle eingeschaltet? Also nicht nur die Regler hochdrehen, sondern auch 'unmuten'.
