siox findet Gimp nicht!

Hallo, ich wollte mir siox installiren, alerdings bringt ./configure:

Alerdings habe ich Gimp 2.2.10 installiert, was läuft falsch?

Er sagt ja schon, was zu tun ist.
./configure --helpsollte dir eine Liste liefern, u.a. steht dort sicher auch eine Option, mit der du den Pfad angeben kannst, wo gimp bzw. deine entsprechenden Files installiert sind.

Use these variables to override the choices made by `configure' or to help
it to find libraries and programs with nonstandard names/locations.

Bei mir funktioniert SIOX einwandfrei.

geholt hast es dir doch bei denen hier: "http://www.siox.org/", oder?

da du gimp-2.2 hast, kannst du dir doch schon das vorkompilierte plugin nehmen:

http://www.siox.org/downloads/siox4gimp

das kopierst du einfach nach /home/<user>/.gimp-2.2/plugins, startest GIMP neu und
schon ist es mit an bord.
nicht vergessen, das plugin ausführbar zu machen (chmod +x siox4gimp).
es befindet sich dann in filter->misc->foreground extraction

:oops: Da fält mir erst auf, das ich schon länger nicht auf der siox-Seite war. Als ich das letzt mal dort war haben sie das fertig kompiliete Packet noch nicht angeboten, auch wuste ich noch nicht's von dem Applet und dem Vorhaben das auch in Inkscape, E-Chalk und RoboCup.

PS: Siox, ist so schon ganz nett, aber wirklich brauchbar wirds wohl erst mit gimp 2.4, irgend jemand ne Ahnung wann das erscheinen wird?

Schön, dass es funktioniert. Ich warte auch schon brennend auf Gimp 2.4
In den Dev-Versionen (2.3.11) ist das ja auch schon mit drin.
