Timed out bei dig +trace

Hallo

Habe da ein Problem, welches ich, soweit ich mich erinnern kann, schon mal hatte. Weiss nur leider die Lösung nicht mehr.

Das Problem betrifft "dig".
Ein normales dig @<DNS> <Domain> funktioniert, doch bei einem dig +trace erhalte ich folgende Ausgabe:
dig +trace www.google.com

; <<>> DiG 9.2.1 <<>> +trace www.google.com
;; global options: printcmd
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

Sieht danach aus, als hätte er keine Liste der Root-Server.

Habe schon in google gesucht, bisher aber nichts brauchbares gefunden ...
Das Forum wurde ebenfalls schon durchsucht ... leider auch kein Erfolg
Bleibt wohl nichts anderes übrig als Geduld ...
