Kein Capture für Mikro möglich

Hi,

ich habe folgendes Problem bei meinem Kubuntu Dapper:

Ich habe ein Mikro angeschlossen, wenn ich reinspreche, dann höre ich das auch auf den Lautsprechern. Aber audacity, krecord und wie sie alle heißen können kein Ton über das Mikro aufnehmen.
Im Alsamixer habe ich das Mikro auf capture gestellt und capture selbst ganz aufgedreht.
Im Kmix ist das Mikro als Input aktiviert. In kcontrol habe ich unter Sound full-duplex eingestellt.

Weiß jemand Rat?

vielleicht mußt Du noch zusätzlich capture auf so was wie AC97, .. was ist WAVE, die 2x Line, setzen. Eben probieren, dazu die Eingabe auf die Ausgabe ausgeben
wie z.B. mit:
arecord -fcd | aplay
und in anderem Fenster mit den Mixereinstellungen spielen. "-fcd" steht nur für cd-ähnliche Aufnahmequalität.

hörst du aber, was du wirklich aufnimmst!

es ist etwas anderes, ob der ton vom micro zum kopförer durchgeschleift wird, oder in eine datei aufgenommen wird.
arecord nimmt etwas auf und kann es entweder in eine datei speichern oder gleich an aplay wieterleiten wie oben.
das problem bei obigem befehl ist aber, dass es (fast) ohne verzögerung passiert, und man daher nicht unterscheiden kann zwischen durchgeschleift und aufgenommen.
man muss eine verzögerung einbauen, wie das geht habe ich vergessen (vielleicht kann da jemand helfen?)

wenn das dann klapt, ist die idee, solange am mixer zu spielen, bis man das aufgenommene verzögert hört.

hast du mal probiert ac97 auch auf capture zu stellen?

bei der Aufnahme mit arecord und gleichzeitiger Wiedergabe. Sogar die üblichen Rückkopplungsspiele sind damit machbar. Man kann das ganze etwas verlängern indem bei arecord ein größere Puffer angegeben wird, sowas wie
arecord --buffer-size=40000
oder noch größer ......

Ich weiß nicht, was ich im Mixer noch einstellen soll. Eine Aufnahme vom MIkro ist einfach nicht möglich. Ich gebe auf. :(

ich sagte Du sollst mit den Mixereinstellungen probieren, wenn Du mit amixer nichts einstellen kannst, dann installiere Dir noch alle möglichen anderen Mixer dazu (es gibt mindestens 4!! die manchmal je nach Karte eine anwenderfreundlichere Ansicht bringen). Das ganze hilft aber nicht weiter, wenn Du es nicht probierst:
z.B.

warum hast Du da noch nicht versucht auch mal capture einzusetzen - kann sein, daß bei Deiner Hardware alles über einen extra Mixer läuft .....

ich habe mich nun nochmal rangesetzt und siehe da: Das aufdrehen von AC97 im alsamixer hat geholfen. Jetzt kann ich mit dem Mikro aufnehmen.
Verstehen tue ich das ganze nicht, aber was solls... ;)

vielleicht verstehst Du ja jetzt was mein Hinweis bringen sollte, nur bei Deiner Reaktion "ich verstehe nicht ganz, wie mich das weiter bringen soll.
Ich höre ja, was ich aufnehmen möchte, nur kann ich es leider nicht aufnehmen." verstehst Du jetzt vielleicht auch warum ich dann einfach die Flinte ins Korn werfe. Es gilt eben immer, daß nur Du vor dem Computer sitzt und deshalb auch nur Du die Änderungen vornehmen kannst.
