Hallo @ all!

Ich nutze opensuse 10.0 und habe xp mit vmware am laufen.
Da dachte ich mir rüste mal den RAM auf 1024.
Gesagt getan.
Ich habe mir nochmal einen 512 MB Riegel gekauft baugleich.
Infineon 512MB DDR PC3200.
Das booten lief gut Speicher erkannt nur mein WLAN USB Adapter
den ich mit ndiswrapper am laufen habe wird nicht mehr erkannt.
(Hersteller:Corega).
Da dachte ich ruf mal YAST auf und konfiguriere die Netzerkkarte neu.
Siehe da der Dialog Netzerkkarte einrichten friert ein.
Na da wollte ich den Rechner runterfahren aber nix geht.Netzstecker
gezogen.Den alten RAM ausgebaut und nur den neuen drin gelassen
und alles läuft aber nur mit 512 MB.
Hat da jemand einen Tipp für mich?

Ja, da es sich wohl um ein Hardwareproblem handelt (zB Unverträglichkeit MoBo - RAM) wäre es interessant zu erfahren um welche Hardware es sich handelt.

Vertausch testweise mal die beiden RAM Riegel, das hat bei mir schonmal geholfen.

ja die Hardware:
MB: Elitegroup 741 GX-M
Speicher:2*512 MB Infinion DDR PC3200 Cl2.5
GRAKA:Nvidia MX440SE
TV:Skystar2
WLAN:Siemens SE515 Corega USB Adapter WLUSB26T
Also mit XP scheint alles zu laufen.Daher denke ich das der Speicher in Ordnung ist.

Dass es unter XP läuft sagt überhaupt nix. Probier mal memtest86.

das ist dein problem, die mainboards taugen nichts. daher kann es sehr gut sein das die probleme daher kommen.

Hallo!
Also memtest lief ohne errors.
Ich habe im BIOS LAN on Board disabled.
Dann konnte ich YAST wenigstens wieder aufrufen und die
Netzwerkkartenkonfiguration auswählen.
Ich habe dort alle Einstellungen gelöscht und alles wieder
neu eingerichtet.
Die Power Led am WLAN Corega leuchtet auch aber nicht die
Link Lampe.
Wenn das Board defekt sein sollte dann dürfte WLAN
doch auch nicht mit XP laufen.Oder sehe ich da was falsch?

Da siehst du was falsch, windows läuft öfters mal mit kaputter hardware. Wie lang und wie gut ist immer anders.

Hallo!

Ich glaube ich habe was gefunden.Ich weis aber nicht wie ich jetzt
weitermachen soll.

pack die ausgabe bitte in die code-tabs. macht die sache übersichtlicher. einfach vor der ausgabe [ CODE ] und danach [ /CODE ] aber du musst die freizeichen weglassen in den klammern.
