Hallo!
Mir ist eben - ohne erkennbaren Grund - das System stehengeblieben, dabei kam aus den Boxen ein lautes Geräusch. Nach dem Reboot geht der Sound nicht mehr, ohne, dass ich etwas an der Config verändert hätte.

Wenn ich lspci -v tippe, kommt

Scheinbar ist die Soundkarte da, aber warum erkennt Ubuntu sie nicht? Und was muss ich eintippen, damit sie wieder geht?

Kannst es mal mit alsaconf versuchen.

alsaconf kannst du nur als root ausführen -> su -c alsaconf

danke für die Antworten - es war der PCI-Slot. Ich habe die Karte umgesteckt, jetzt geht wieder alles wie vorher :)
