Hi,
Ich habe folgendes Problem: mein Notebook, das Maxdata 4100 IW spuckt kein Sound aus.
Es verhält sich so:
Es ist ein Suse 9.3 druf, zwischen 10.0 keine unterschiede. Die Treiber werden geladen - doch weder im Yast noch in "alsaconf" hört man etwas wenn man die sampels anhört. Xmms tut so als ob er die MP3s abspielen würde, es kommt aber nix raus.

es wird das modul snd-hda-intel geladen.
Das anhängsel model=5stack hat nix geholfen. Was mir auserdem auffällt, ist, das beim laden des Moduls in /var/log/messages diese meldung erscheint:
8:16 Chr-Lap kernel: ALSA sound/pci/hda/patch_realtek.c:1012: hda_codec: Unknown model for ALC880

das mit den unknown model macht mir angst. [....]
und als ich das mit den 5stack probiert hab:

Was das AFG heisen soll, hab ich keine ahnung.
Ich hoffe ihr habt einen rat, ich habe keine ahnung was ich noch machen soll....

Ich habs mit den realtek treibern probiert (link verlegt, hab nur den dateinamen: realtek-linux-audiopack-3.5-2.tar.bz2) auf jeden fall is das dingens immer auf voller lautstärke, und kann es mit keinen mixer ändern....
