Hallo liebe Linux-Nutzer.
Ich kämpfe seit einigen Tagen mit einem Problem, das mich langsam verzweifeln lässt. Auf meiner Gigabyte K8-VT800 PRO Platine ist eine recht gute OnBoard Soundkarte, welche u.a. auch SPDIF in/out hat und vollständig von ALSA (mit all den Features) unterstützt wird. Über diese Soundkarte (GA-7VAX Onboard Audio (Realtek ALC650) bedient durch den via82xx Treiber) hatte ich bisher über eben jenen SPDIF-Out Musik an meinen Yamaha-Reciever übergeben. Dazu musste ich anfangs fest stellen, dass ich sowohl den SPDIF-Out aktivieren musste (logisch) also auch den "Lautstärke-Regler" des IEC958 auf "0" stellen musste (unlogisch) damit der Stream an den Verstärker über Digital-Out geschickt wurde.
Nun aber das Problem: Seit einigen Tagen kommt da eben nichts mehr heraus. Der IEC958 ist aktiviert und auch die Lautstärke wie immer genullt und doch kommt kein Ton über die Anlage. Ein Hardware-Defekt liegt nicht vor, da ich es unter WindowsXP getestet hatte und hier weiterhin Sound über Digital-Out ausgegeben wird.

Der interessante Bereich sollte fett markiert worden sein. Natürlich habe ich schon am Regler versucht zu drehen aber leider hat das nichts gebracht. Hat jemand vielleicht einen Tip oder sieht in der Ausgabe einen möglichen Verursacher? Im Log sind keine "via" Einträge zu finden womit ich auf ein eigentlich funktionierendes System schliesse...
Alsa liegt in der Version 1.09 vor und läuft unter SuSE 10.
